The Capital District has a decentralized cadastre, which carries out a real estate update by the Special Administrative Unit of District Cadastre, whose mission is to update the real estate inventory of real estate, determining its physical, legal and economic characteristics, with the to meet the public and private sector taking into account national and district rules. The permanent cadastral updating process that the administration carries out annually to the urban areas of the city since 2010, is based on resolution number 1008 of 2012, issued by the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute, which for the year was 2,419,229 urban buildings In the development of this audit process, the Comptroller of Bogotá supervises the processes carried out in the Special Administrative Unit of District Cadastre, which makes necessary the presence of personnel trained in cadastral and cartographic work that provide support and advice in the analysis and study of the information, both the management of cadastral information and spatial information, thus allowing a detailed and objective analysis of the information to obtain reports that allow to establish the quality of the processes and the management of the audited entity.
