Oil palm cultivation is a large component of the world agroindustry. In Colombia it is one of the largest agricultural exponents with more than 500,000 hectares planted in different areas of the country, however, its cultivation causes damage to ecosystems which has led producers to carry out sustainable practices and the development of certifications that endorse it. Flora sampling was carried out in the remnant wooded areas located within Hacienda La Cabaña SA, in the foothills of the Llanero, where different types of coverings were identified and classified under the methodology of the Corine Land Cover legend. determine the composition, structure and diversity of the vegetation present in these natural areas and based on the information obtained strategies for the recovery of degraded areas were developed. Floristic arrangements were designed, where the species to be used according to their ecological importance were selected, as well as potential areas for recovery and mapping of the forested areas. The vegetation found presents a high diversity, however, the structure shows disturbances within the ecosystems
