The study and characterization of aperiodic impulse noise will be developed in this document through the use of statistical tools and through several experiments oriented both to determine its appearance in the spectrum and its modeling over time; As a result, the mitigation of certain frequencies by means of a device will be proposed, which, despite of not being a direct result of modeling, it will be designed with the intention of obtaining an improvement in data transmission
