This work is based on issues in road safety, transportation, accident rate and signaling, with the aim of mitigating road accidents surrounding the Liceo Arkadia Colombia School sector, located in the City of Bogotá, a Locality of Suba and obtaining a safe corridor for the community. especially for students and bike users, for this purpose this work entitled “Diseño de un Plan Estratégico de Seguridad Vial para la Institución Educativa Liceo Arkadia Colombia de la Ciudad de Bogotá” was developed with the information collected from the sector and the help of the community linked to this educational institution. During this investigation, the lack of infrastructure, poor condition or absence of both vertical and horizontal signage was evidenced, which means that there is a latent risk of accidents in the sector, with this work we expect a high decrease in accidents, which will benefit all the community, especially the students who always become the most vulnerable.
