The following paper gives account of the design of a Virtual Learning Environment that integrates different literary forms represented by the transmedia narratives, with the intention to promote methodological and didactical innovation in Colombian Science Fiction literature teaching as a significant part of the Language and Literature programme in Seventh grade at Gimnasio Los Portales school. This project pretends to evidence the impact of the integration made between Education with technology and the pedagogical design of Units of Inquiry in the International Baccalaureate programme in the Spanish class, whilst contributing to the improvement of the teaching processes that foster the benefits of an integrated, personalized and significant education. By understanding education with technology as a perspective related to the pedagogical use of different technological advancements, and with Colombian Science Fiction as a narrative representation capable of employing transmedia narrative in order to create complex universes of significance, this document presents a conceptualization related to the construction of Virtual Learning Environments that integrate revolutionary elements in the pedagogical approaches to the literary analysis of the genre. Simultaneously, this proposal intends to portray the Ministerio de Educación Nacional and IB dispositions in terms of the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies in the innovations of the pedagogical field, that position education as a key factor in the construction of XXI century citizens.
