This research was conducted at the College Kimy Pernia Domicó I.E.D., located in the town of Bosa. The research interest comes from the teaching and learning of the acquisition of writing, and was to favor the process of evolution of writing purpose, through collaborative learning, children in grade transition. Methodologically was based on action research, from the interpretive paradigm from the qualitative approach, with an intervention through four stages: (i) approach to research problem, (ii) problem identification, (iii) formulation of categories for the problem statement, (iiii) design and implementation of the action plan. In the analysis of results, they showed progress in the acquisition process of writing, to establish collaborative learning strategy, in the form of the draft action through five sequences. The study realized the importance of recognizing writing as sociocultural practice, the process of evolution of writing, discussion in the classroom as a process of interaction, the mediating role of teaching and writing authentic texts, all framed in collaborative learning.
