This text is part of the theoretical constructions of the Emphasis on education, pedagogy and comparative education of the Interinstitutional Doctorate in Education, Francisco José de Caldas District University, especially some of the advances of its students in the framework of their doctoral training, in In this sense, it synthesizes the academic production on specific topics within the framework of the preparation of doctoral theses. The reflections that teachers make on topics close to the problems of their students are also exposed, so that one and the other put at the service of the academic community their productions. The themes of childhood, pedagogy and the teaching of recent history are part of this volume, which not only add to the important trajectory of the lines of research that make up the Emphasis, but also make a contribution to the Colombian pedagogical field with this frontier knowledge.
