In this project an auditory-perceptive and grammatical analysis of the rhythm of the Colombian Pasillo, is carried out to identify the processes of generalization present in this musical genre and that can be used to enhance the development of algebraic thinking in school. The analysis is made from the Colombian Pasillo Huri, an anonymous author and the different types of generalization; The proposal is framed in a historical, musical and mathematical context.
