The work describes the activities carried out in the Strategic Planning Department, within the framework of the Cadastral and Geodesy Engineering internship. In this internship the creation and implementation of the Social Observatory of Cajicá was carried out, which was structured towards the analysis of quantitative indicators of municipal impact, which were later associated to a Geographical Information System that allows the decision making based on the possible identified problems. Likewise, it manages to propose focused solutions having as main input the spatial component.
