The Internal Work Group (GIT), land control and field classification is part of the Geography and Cartography Subdirectorate of the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC); currently, it is in charge of uploading all the information generated internally to the Geocarto portal, this allows the storage, management and consultation of the information regarding the geodetic, geographic and cartographic production. During the internship it was evidenced and analyzed that the information referring to land control points was not being stored, manipulated or controlled with the quality and safety standards required for the treatment of this important information. Standards that the Geocarto portal does meet.
