Forest Management Plans (POF) are essential for territorial planning in Colombia and must be implemented by the Corporations Autonomies Regionals (CAR). The CAR of Cundinamarca has established the need to formulate a POF in its 2020-2023 action plan. This process involves providing support in the characterization of biotic, abiotic and socioeconomic components, with a special focus on flora for the regional directorates in charge, in this case: Tequendama and Soacha. The internship seeks to support the identification of biomes, life zones and forest cover in the CAR's POF area, in addition to generating data for key indicators related to the zoning and monitoring of forest ecosystems, through the use of primary and secondary information.
