Determinación de las cantidades de carbono y nitrógeno presentes en lombricompost producido a partir de dos diferentes sustratos (material vegetal y estiércol de caballo)
Lombricultivo was established in the farm Villa del Socorro Vereda Plateaus of the municipality of Sasaima Cundinamarca, at 1200 msnm with an average temperature of 24ºC and a relative humidity of 66% with two different substrates (equine manure and vegetal material) in order to obtain The optimal lombricompost to perform the corresponding chemical analyzes to determine the contents of nitrogen (N) and carbon (C). A sample of each vermicompost was taken, which were taken for analysis to the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC) soil laboratory, the type of analysis is cataloged as Q-27 type soil sample. The analyzes performed on the samples resulted in a significant difference in the contents of nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) in the samples of vermicompost, total carbon% 26.70 (C); % 2.25 (N) for sample one (1) plant material and% 18.61 (C); % 1.54 (N) for sample 2 equine manure. This difference can be attributed to the type of food supplied to the vermicompost, management or climatic conditions in the area.
