Within the environmental management of Colombian institutions, is the basic sanitation plan, which is defined as the set of alternatives that focus on the development of programs related to cleaning and disinfection, solid waste management, pest control, water supply, among other programs aimed at guaranteeing minimum hygiene and health standards within organizations with the aim of contributing to public and environmental health. In the present monograph the basic sanitation plan for the Faculty of Sciences and Education of the Francisco José de Caldas District University is developed according to the current legal regulations.
