Based on the theoretical foundations and main advances of the psychologist Daniel Kahneman and the economist Richard Thaler, Nobel Prize winners in Económicos, a description of the elements and theories of decision maquina in uncertain environments was made in light of the different contributions made. From these initial concepts, the strengths and cognitive biases that exist in environmental decisions were identified, in addition to recognizing the multiple environmental errors that are evident in today's society. Finally, it is intended to analyze and apply the theoretical foundations found in environmental decision making such as Critical Natural Capital, exploitation of Natural Resources and Lifestyles, which are directly related to the profession of Environmental Manager. In this way, it is intended to contribute to the exercise of the profession starting from the study of experimental investigations already carried out in uncertain environments and which are closely and coherently related to environmental and social conflicts, which today are a worldwide problem.
