The Distrital Institute of Recreation and Sports (IDRD) is a public entity ascribed to the Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sports of the City Hall of Bogota, whose main objective is to generate and promote public spaces for recreation, sports, physical activity and the sustainability of parks and scenarios, improving life quality, senes of belonging, and happinness of the inhabitants of the city. The internship related to this report was developed in the Training and Practice Area in the Technical Sub-direction of Recreaction and Sports, which fulfills the functions of supervision of agreements between the Institute and different Universities, organization of sport management and related topics courses, and the control of social service process in the training hours validation modality, and consisted in support, evaluate and propose improvements to the proper development of these processes.
