Milsen S.A is a chain of restaurants and patisseries better known with its commercial name as Yanuba. It has a production plant located in Carrera 7G # 164-51 San Cristóbal Norte, which is dedicated to manufacturing products such as: biscuits, biscuits, breads, cakes, jams, truffles, tamales, wraps and puff pastry to distribute them at their points of sale. sale. In the biscuit production line, several problems are evident, such as the delays involved in the manufacture and packaging of the products that delay the delivery of the production to the dispatch area and as a consequence the order is not distributed in the times established at the points of sale. After having analyzed by means of a study of methods and times, it is proposed to develop an improvement plan in the production process of the different biscuits made in the Milsen SA plant that allows the improvement of the process and in the deliveries, now it is carried out a diagnosis in order to determine the faults that the biscuit making process has, in the second instance variables will be determined looking for the critical points to prioritize their intervention, later an improvement plan will be elaborated to implement it at the critical points of the process and finally, the cost-benefit ratio will be determined to know how viable it is to implement the improvement plan in the biscuit production line. The study is projected for a duration of three months, with shifts of 8 hours a day, three days a week, with the support of the Plant Manager and the operator in charge of the biscuit production line.
