The present internship modality work shows the conceptualization, characterization and description of the practical development that was carried out within the framework of the analysis processes to the tools available in the company Geomática Moncaleano Sáenz SAS, in the creation of digital elevation models in environments urban areas for the location and simulation of telecommunications antennas in the city of Medellín, where the application of knowledge acquired throughout the career is evident and at the same time the strengthening of the development of individual competences framed within Cadastral Engineering and Geodesy. As a result, the main objective was achieved and reliable digital elevation models were generated, becoming competitive products and fully meeting delivery expectations. In addition to this, the respective comparisons of methodologies were made together with the feasibility analysis of the models, in order to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each of the processes, finally updated products were obtained with the availability of use in subsequent projects.
