The work is focused on the geodesics' study on Riemannian Manifolds and Lie groups. The main objective will be looking for an equation to find the geodesics on the Lie groups, using their Lie algebra. Besides, through the Index Form, it will be possible to conclude where the geodesic is a minimizing geodesic, aspect added to the fact the geodesics are critical points of the Energy functional.
