This monographic research exercise aims to explain how artistic creation processes can favor recognition, development and empowerment; In some cases, psychological strengths predominated in the individual psychological well-being of young adults and, in turn, how it can be a facilitating tool in mental health promotion programs and prevention of mental problems or illnesses. The methodology is phenomenological and concludes with the identification of three categories that respond to said objective: The subjective purpose assigned to art, positive emotions and representative psychological strengths.
