The main purpose of this research is to develop a methodology in order that the populations without power energy supply are able to propose their own projects to obtain it by using non-conventional sources of renewable energy supply. To achieve this, it is proposed the counseling of an interdisciplinary technical team supporting the set up for the energy supply solution chosen with the community. It is taken as particular case to study the Aico indigenous shelter, located in the Tolima department in Colombia. This shelter has not the basic public utilities: energy power supply, water and sewage, telecommunications nor high school. For developing the methodology it was done field activities and collaborative work with the indigenous community, this allows to build the methodology taking into account the participation of the people.
