The objective of this report is to know what is the musical initiation for the teacher in the school music of the regional Andean Center South of the National Plan of Music for the Coexistence of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia. Diploma Course in Musical Initiation made by agreement between the Universidad Distrital and Fundación Música en los Templos in the year 2015 made possible the meeting with teachers which are participants in this report. Professor making musical initiation selects with care the songs, the activities, the contents and forms of teaching. Also, it includes traditional music as a contribution to regional identity.
