Depression is a frequent mental disorder that affects a large part of the worldwide population, constituting a public health problem due to its high prevalence, mainly in the young population. This work was built in order to identify the prevalence of depressive symptoms in students of Medicine and Environmental Engineer of a university in Bogotá, at different moments of the career. The study was conducted through the use of an endorsed scale, which meets the ethical requirements required for this mental disorder, which would attempt to establish a partnership between depressive symptoms and undergraduate careers.
