The following work is a proposal to improve the processes of storage and control of inventories with the purpose of reducing the costs of these processes in the Commercial Company of Cereals of the East Ltda. To meet the overall objective, a diagnosis of the current situation of the inventory storage and control processes was first made, using tools such as flowcharts, Pareto diagram, lshikawa, interviews, direct observation and application of the diagnostic survey matrix. Photographic records and company visits were made, managing to identify the main causes of the problems of these processes, facilitating the approach of possible solutions.
