The present project of work of degree is directed to strengthen the teaching-learning processes of the literacy in the students of degree 3° of the Educational Institution the Sabanal, through a didactic cartilla, which seeks to increase students' interest in and taste for reading, as well as to develop creative skills and their imagination for the production of literary texts. Similarly, to foster the sense of belonging in children for their culture and each of the elements that make up the environment that surrounds them, since most of the children’s stories used in this strategy are by writers from Córdoba. Theoretically, it is based on approaches by authors such as: Bruner, Taylor and Bogdan, Palomo and Vygotsky. It also has It also takes into account the guidelines contained in the Curriculum Guidelines, Competence Standards and Basic Learning Rights. It is also based on the qualitative approach from the Phenomenological method. This project is the result of observations and interviews that yielded unfavourable results, bearing in mind that reading is the fundamental basis for the acquisition of new knowledge. For this reason, another purpose of this didactic strategy is to create reading habits in students.
