The present project, titled "Propuesta de turismo social educativo para el Colegio Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra de la localidad de Usme", targets children from 10 to 15 years of age. This with the goal of awakening their interest and create more opportunities for them to conduct touristic activities. This new opportunities may help them learn more about themselves, have interest in traveling and a new outlook on life. In the same way, make them want to contribute to create incentives for the cultural heritage, generating benefit for both parts. To carry out this activity were identified the interests of the target population through surveys to students in six grade and their guardians, about their interest on touristic or similar activities. The results show that there is interest in conducting this type of activities outside their everyday environment. On this occasion, we decided to focus on social tourism, in order to facilitate the access of the children to the activities and to guarantee the enjoyment of leisure time in family, and on the educational tourism so this would be a extracurricular space for the children to learn and reaffirm the knowledge gained in the classroom. In order to ensure that the field trip to an attractive tourist destination was fit and the activities were appropriated to our public, we conducted a pilot study on may 8 of 2019 at the "Museo del Oro" for 155 student volunteers and their parents; specifically, we had 67 students with guardians.
