Colombia has been hit for 58 years by an armed conflict that has left 8.3 million victims (UNHCR, 2017, 1), this research is interested in the existential impact of forced displacement on civilians. In this sense, we intend to analyze the manifestation of the existential dimension in three people under this condition. Likewise, the phenomenological design and qualitative approach were applied using a semi-structured interview applied to three elderly people, who are in a condition of forced displacement, aimed at identifying the creative, experiential and attitude; Which, according to Frankl, are the tools that the human being uses to build meaning in the situations that put him to the limit. Finally, it was identified that the people interviewed have built a sense of life to their existence after having been displaced, through work for the revival of their family, religious evangelism and volunteering in corporations to care for the displaced; In the same way, the intensity of the stay in the countryside, the help given to others affected by the conflict and the time spent with the family is enjoyed with greater intensity; And finally, with the resignification of forced displacement, since it gives new meanings to human suffering as the purifier and facilitator of personal maturation, and likewise, not perceiving oneself as a victim becomes a way of overcoming what has been experienced.
