The result of a research work carried out in the Museum of Independence - Casa del Florero, concerns how a church can strengthen museological and critical museography projects, contributing to an optimal public-space-collection relationship in one of the rooms with more museographic load, in this case "Contexts of Independence". Therefore, to characterize the theoretical, conceptual and methodological contributions of the critical museology through a guide that serves to revitalize said space, makes possible to give a new perspective, where when relating new forms to the visitors with the collections, a significant contribution is generated. regarding the appropriation of knowledge and its use in reality; added to this, the possibility of analyzing learning in a non-formal field of education
