Education undoubtedly is a fundamental right, over the years and throughout history the transformation of the educational processes of the disabled population has been significant, away from the welfare conception and rehabilitation from a clinical approach , from the special education or exclusive "special classes", the educational model of school integration, now finding in including the possibility of extending the look and cover all stages of participation to be considered a social model, not just education. The research interest is focused on providing education to upper level of the visually impaired population, understood by all people diagnosed with low vision and blindness. Due to the lack of teachers in the implementation of teaching resources needed to promote inclusive academic processes. Answering the question of what are the viable research teaching resources are inclusive academic processes to enable visually impaired students at the University the Great Colombia in Bogotá? in turn, the overall objective was to propose the implementation of teaching resources that meet the academic needs of students with visual disabilities to inclusive academic processes. It was conducted in line sociocritical research, with a type of research study in action and a qualitative design, using as a tool for collecting the survey questionnaire type, achieving results identify the academic needs of students with visual disabilities to suggest the use of teaching resources within the strategies and actions contemplated policy guideline inclusive higher education proposed by the Ministry of Education within the first challenge (build inclusive academic processes)
