The community Amoyá located south of the department of Tolima, corregimiento de San José de las Hermosa, is characterized by an inclined topography due to the presence of the river Amoyá in the middle of the slopes of the canyon of the beautiful, in turn, it has an indigenous population with a precarious standard of living, this as a result of different factors that have developed in its context as they are; violence by armed groups, the large number of displaced indigenous people, the forgetfulness of the state and the realization of megaprojects without prior consultation with the indigenous. The present proposal aims to create a housing model that adapts to the cultural and economic dynamics of the Amoyá community, taking theoretical and historical references for understanding the different problems, conditions of poverty and oblivion, being reflected in the quality of housing, which, due to their current conception, employs inappropriate construction techniques with the absence of regulations and the implementation of materials not suitable for their environment, which leads to the structural element not providing its proper use and function, the consolidation of the project was executed through the methodological analysis focused on three consolidated phases as observed, that interprets the environment of the territory, later the phase of thinking, which proceeds to interpret the theories and intentions of design and finally the acting where the proposal of housing is designed from constructive techniques executable by the community.
