Linear economics is the economic strategy that has been implemented since the industrial revolution and focuses on the process of extracting, producing and designing a product. Due to the consequences generated by the linear economy such as environmental problems and the misuse of waste, the concept of circular economy arises, which consists of a four-phased cycle, reducing, reusing, repairing and recycling. Based on the bibliography review carried out, this document presents a number of concepts on the circular economy, its main characteristics and the benefits it brings to the general population; similarly, there is a difference with recycling, hence it is very common to be confused, even though companies are currently implementing it
