This research work refers to the topic of creating guidelines for the execution of consultancies in Civil Engineering adapted to SMEs in the city of Ibagué. In order to develop these guidelines, the management of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard is carried out, allowing it to be possible to improve or obtain standardized processes, which means that these companies are more efficient. With consultancies being the main axis of the research, a review of academic literature and database documents was carried out, as well as a series of interviews with specialist engineers and people who have worked in said labor field. This in order to know in depth the processes and activities carried out in the consultancies, which shows the lack of standardization of processes, documents and quality controls as indicators in the different services they provide. Likewise, with interviews the financial items and the legislation that is handled in the process were identified. What you will get to know in its entirety how it is carried out, what it must comply with and with what type of entities the consultancy in specialized services such as geotechnics, structures and land routes works hand in hand. In conclusion, the results that were obtained were: concepts necessary for the interpretation of the consultations, analysis of interviews, sipoc diagram identifying the inputs and outputs of the processes, flowcharts and process matrix, characterization sheets and general model of the process with the guidelines for the execution of consultancies.
