En el trabajo de grado, se expone la propuesta arquitectónica de una vivienda indígena Neolocal mononuclear que atiende a las necesidades y transformaciones de su cultura en el modo de habitar, del resguardo indígena Altomira, en el municipio de Marsella, Risaralda, Colombia. La propuesta, interpreta y aplica su nuevo habitar de acuerdo a un análisis previo que involucra conceptos culturales de la vivienda indígena Embera tradicional, su tipología y corrientes arquitectónicas, la adaptabilidad a diferentes topografías, su manera de habitar y de concebir una vivienda puesto que han sido partícipes de un proceso de aculturación que los han llevado a transformar y adaptar sus tradiciones culturales y costumbres. Para lograrlo, se manifiesta propósitos claros donde actúan de manera visionaria, tales como: recuperar, preservar, revalorizar, y reflejar, características propias de una vivienda indígena; respondiendo con un proyecto arquitectónico acorde y conforme a su condición cultural. Abstract: In the degree work, the architectural proposal of a mononuclear Neolocal indigenous dwelling that meets the needs and transformations of their culture in the way of living is exposed, of the Altomira indigenous reservation, in the municipality of Marsella, Risaralda, Colombia. The proposal interprets and applies its new habitat according to a previous analysis that involves cultural concepts of the traditional Embera indigenous dwelling, its typology and architectural currents, the adaptability to different topographies, its way of living and of conceiving a house since they have been participants in a process of acculturation that has led them to transform and adapt their traditions, culture and customs. To achieve this, clear objectives are expressed where they act in a visionary manner, such as: recovering, preserving, revaluing, and reflecting characteristics of an indigenous dwelling; responding with an architectural project according to their cultural condition.
