The geological and mechanic classifications bring has great importance to be able to determine the quality of the rocky massif, all this allows to establish a pattern of behavior. The rocky massif of the fiu-151 concession was studied in the Esperanza and Zarzal mines. For this we used the RMR classification of Bieniawski (1989), which determines a value and with this a behavior. To reach these results, it was necessary to carry out a stage of data collection, which included: local geological record, detailed geological record, and a series of information necessary for the classification of the massif. A second stage simpling comprising to the geological perform for each mine according to geology, in order to perform a series of laboratory tests. The next stage includes the analysis of the information determinate; where the lithology’s are defined for each mine, different structural domains, characteristics and discontinuity conditions. Finally, it is done with the data determinate for the geological and mechanic classification and the definition of the lithology’s, a 2D modeling process in which products are obtained that include; RMR classification every 10m in the different mining works studied, lithological continuity and local structures. With the modeling carried out at a scale of 1:500, 1: 250, 1:200, the quality of each study mine is identified in detail, which generates a susceptibility map showing the different zones with their respective quality of the massif, good and regular.
