Different studies suggest that the relationship between income and environmental deterioration tends to be positive eventually. This tendency is proven by the commonly called Environmental Kuznets curve. This document seeks to show an estimate of the relationships between environmental degradation variables as the water quality indicator and emission of particulate material, income, and other macroeconomic variables using a panel data model with fixed effects. Throughout the development of this document, the direct relationship between environmental degradation and income is in accordance with the findings indicated in much of the literature, but the results are volatile and sensitive to included, or their specification is changed.
