Implementación de PostGIS sobre la bodega de datos del CDIAC, que permita la espacialización y análisis de los datos ambientales del departamento de Caldas
The data warehouse and Data Center and Environmental indicators of Caldas (CDIAC), fulfills the function of storage, process and make available to the public the information obtained from monitoring stations, different weather variables, hydro meteorological, rainfall data and air quality (Li et al., 2016). The National University of Colombia in arrangement with Regional Autonomous Corporation of Caldas (CorpoCaldas), project developer Environmental baseline of department of Caldas, which supports the integration and analysis of data in the storage of data, in addition seek enable the people concerned the data access and the indicators generated from them In order to reinforce environmental stewardship throughout the region it has great interest the spatial dimension of the environmental data and the correct use of appropriate techniques at the time analyze and model them. This work is meant in the use and software implementation free for spatial management of the information in the storage of data, by selection, process and analysis of data alphanumeric. Once analyzed data sources, was carried out a set of to procedures that respond the methodology so as to implement tools for spatialize the data displayed through CDIAC, on the basis of spatial extend PostGIS of the management system of database (SGBD) PostgreSQL. Between the achievements of the implementation of PostGIS are the spatialization of data from the storage and the availability of tools from analysis on environmental data’s.
