This project aims to design a digital prototype to optimize internal communication at Gralco S.A., a Colombian fishing company. Current inefficiencies in communication, particularly in task assignment within the company's committees, have led to employee stress, confusion, and delays, impacting productivity and morale. Following the Design Thinking methodology, the project team sought to understand employee needs and challenges through interviews, direct observation, and focus groups. The initial findings identified recurring issues, such as delayed committee minutes, unclear task assignments, and lack of transparency, which hinder efficiency and employee engagement. The solution proposed is a digital tool integrating key functions for communication, task management, and clear responsibility assignment to foster a structured and collaborative environment. Using techniques like brainstorming and the Six Thinking Hats methodology, the team developed ideas for an application featuring real-time notifications, quick access to committee minutes, and an intuitive user interface. This prototype, tested for usability, is expected to enhance team coordination, reduce delays, and increase Gralco's organizational responsiveness. The project aims to create a replicable model for other companies, promoting improved communication practices and increasing competitiveness in the industry.
