The research is based on knowing and determining the areas that may become prone to flooding within the area of the middle sub-basin of the Lebrija River. Due to the fact that the climatic and meteorological aspects are changing throughout the country, the analysis of the flood variable in this place generates useful information for the well-being of the communities that reside there. As well as the possible implications that may occur if a catastrophic event related to rains occurs in the region such as landslides, loss of crops, among others. To obtain what is necessary to achieve this prediction, the data obtained by stations that collected all the information on the precipitation events that occurred in the sub-basin were managed.
