This paper aims to determine corporate sustainability practices in social and non-profit organizations in the Colombian Caribbean Region, given that it would be important for any social organization to identify their sustainability practices, likewise, the study of corporate sustainability allows us to understand the dynamics current in which the organizations under study are immersed. The problem that is being addressed is: Are the most recurrent corporate sustainability practices known in social and non-profit organizations in the Colombian Caribbean Region? The methodology used is documentary, which is done through the consultation of documents (books, magazines, newspapers, memoirs, yearbooks, records, codices, constitutions, etc.). Considering that a review of scientific articles, specialized magazines, books and databases of the Cooperative University of Colombia is carried out. During the documentary review, different perspectives of international and national authors were found in relation to the variables of corporate sustainability and sustainability practices, among which the possible factors that intervene in social organizations are highlighted when preparing and publishing information on Sustainability for your stakeholders. In conclusion, one of the benefits of sustainable business practices is that they favor processes and product development, which affect the environment as little as possible, and corporate sustainability reports in organizations are influenced by interest groups.
