In the municipality of El Banco Magdalena, Colombia has been decreases the flow of Mompox arm, affecting economic activity of the municipality related to low supply wáter and high demand, making it difficult to economic activities navigality, fishing and water availability; so in this research has been made a model of hydrodynamic and transport of sedimentos with previous hydrological data processing will be carried out for the determination of the behavior of flow time series, generating three scenarios which assume a low, médium and high flow duration curve, obtained this numerical and sediment transport modeling it is carried out with the DELFT 3D computer program that solves the equations of shallow waters and for the transport sediment used three equations involving Van Rijn, Engelund-Hansen and Meyer-Peter-Müller taking the model will proceed to make an identification with the data observed in the field, for calibration, obtaining a diagnosis of the area for the identification of the causes of the problem. In the processing of hydrological information, the use of duration and transit flow curves was necessary to determine conditions of minimum outline of models in three scenarios, médium and máximum was a field trip in which level, speed and flow, data were taken, it helped to perform the calibration of the models, finding the number of optimal Manning according to the results obtained with the models, demonstrate a problema at the entrance of the arm of Mompox, which identifies probably as sedimentation in the right bank which does not allow the passage of the fluid in its entirety.
