Evaluación del Plan de Saneamiento y Manejo de Vertimientos para la Contraloría Departamental del Meta tomando como caso de estudio la empresa Agua Viva S.A. E.S.P. del Municipio de Restrepo-Meta
One of the instruments of environmental planning is the Plan of Sanitation and Management of Discharges (PSMD), which contains the actions to achieve the adequate management of the residual waters and also the sanitation of currents, sections or receiving bodies, evaluating the achievement of the objectives and quality goals established by the environmental authority (Garcia, 2018). This internship project in the Departmental Comptroller's Office of Meta, has as its objective the evaluation of the PSMV of the public service company of the municipality of Restrepo Meta AGUAVIVA S.A E.S.P, in order to determine its compliance in terms of the execution of programs, projects and activities (Orjuela & Lizarazo, 2013, p.7 ), therefore, this work carried out a diagnosis by collecting primary and secondary information on the operational functioning of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of the company AGUAVIVA S.A E.S.P., later it was established the compliance of the WWTP considering the monitoring carried out by the Institute of Environmental Hygiene S.A. S of the physicochemical parameters: Temperature, pH, Sedimentable Solids, Total Solids, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD); for the analysis of these data the contamination index (ICO) was calculated, where it was determined that the water body does not present affectations by suspended solids, temperature and pH while it was established the noncompliance of the BOD and COD parameters, according to the Resolution 0631/2015 of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS). In addition, we consolidated the improvement plan carried out by AGUA VIVA S.A.E.S.P. in accordance with the shortcomings found in the diagnosis, for compliance with the PSMV, and finally, we designed a Discharge Evaluation Protocol for the Departmental Comptroller's Office of Meta as an instrumental guide to control and follow up on the discharge of wastewater to water sources in the department of Meta.
