This project represents a structural and financial design that allowed to determine the feasibility of creating an analysis laboratory; the laboratories in Colombia of quality-accredited microbiological analysis require compliance with the stipulated regulations, for this specific case reference has been made to the NTC / ISO 17025: 2017, the report 32 of the WHO and the USP 39, the latter making emphasis in the veterinary industry with its lines of medicines and cosmetics. For the determination of the feasibility of the assembly of the project, tools such as technical and financial studies were used, important in decision-making since what is most impacted is the economy for a project of this type, together with the development of models of business that includes the empathy map and the CANVAS model. The results obtained allowed us to determine that the vast majority of laboratories that currently provide the service of microbiological counting and identification do not have high quality standards as stipulated in NTC / ISO 17025: 2017. In relation to the financial projections it is stipulated that the value of the initial investment is $ 103,750,202 pesos Current Currency (MC) where approximately 300 monthly samples are processed; The indicators show that the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV) are greater than zero, for which the project is established as viable, generating a Payback where the investment will recover in a time of 2 years. Also, it was determined that the business unit will generate a better value proposal than those already in the market, with quality accreditation, and reliable results to the client.
