Civil engineering is one of the careers with the greatest field of action and importance in solving problems and progress in society, therefore, the development of internships is a revealing experience in the training of future engineering professionals, thus allowing a concordance both in academic and professional life. The document presented below reflects the results derived as an intern in the "Metroandina" consortium whose objective is the comprehensive inspection of the concession contract No. 005 of 2015, which corresponds to the construction of a new road from the Chirajara village, up to the intersection of Fundadores in Villavicencio (Meta), together with the operation and maintenance of the entire Bogotá – Villavicencio road corridor. The consortium supported the area of ​​construction, operation and maintenance with constant inspections in the field and contributions in the specific office for civil engineering, complying with the scope of the supervision of the project. That said, the following document describes the internships carried out in the Metroandina consortium, which reveals different aspects of the organization; It contains the description of activities, analysis, supervision and support in the project, as well as an analysis of learning scenarios and important observations during the development of the internships.
