In the work carried out in the San Diego city Hall Cesar as environmental engineering intern I accompanied the diagnosis and development of Development Programs with Territorial Approach (PDET) with advice from the agency renewal of the territory, I also supported projects aimed at the development of the rural productivity, food sovereignty and conservation of ecosystems of vital importance in the municipality. Bearing in mind that the main problem of the municipality is the deficient planning of the territory, making it more susceptible to risks associated with natural phenomena and climate change, we see the need to integrate the community as a fundamental actor in the planning of its environment considering the social, political, economic and environmental aspects. On the other hand, from the work done in the field, together with the Territorial Renewal Agency, the preliminary elaboration of the community pact of regional transformation of the municipality of San Diego Cesar was achieved within the framework of the formulation of development programs with a territorial approach, counting as the main actor the community who knows the needs, characteristics and attributes of its territory. In the same way, in the schools Manuel Rodríguez Torice and Nueva Flores, 60 children from the eighth, ninth and tenth courses on environmental problems and their role as participatory actors in their environment were educated. Subsequently, a school garden was started together with the Manuel Rodríguez Torice School in order to recover rural traditions and to reactivate agricultural production in a certain way together with the pilot biodynamic agro project in coordination with the SENA.
