Introduction: The purpose of this document is to identify the benefits derived from the practice of Crossfit, due to the negative perceptions that can be seen regarding this practice since this conditioning system is stigmatized as an unrecommended or very harmful activity. Therefore, it is necessary to approach the scientific literature from the point of view of studies that allow us to know the scientific reality related to the benefits or damages that should be derived from the practice of Crossfit. The structure of a Crossfit session was considered, and the effects that can be evidenced in the practice were investigated, and studies could be demonstrated to show the impact of Crossfit on different physiological aspects of people at an endocrine, skeletal muscle and cardiovascular level, of those who take this practice as a lifestyle. Methodology: A search was carried out from the point of view of the scientific literature with respect to studies that allow us to know the scientific reality related to the benefits or damages that should be derived from the practice of the Crossfit. Conclusions: It can be concluded from the literature that Crossfit generates physiological adaptations that favour the development and increase of muscle mass, aerobic and anaerobic capacity due to the intensity with which it is performed, and the stimulation in muscle activation that is carried out. This is a training or physical conditioning program that allows the increase of physiological adaptations in which the cardiovascular, endocrine and muscular-skeletal adaptations are included, allowing the improvement of those who practice it.
