The following document describes the process of documentary review, framed to determine which cognitive, behavioral and cognitive-behavioural techniques are applied in the sciences that study human behaviour and which results are favourable or negative based on how the technique is applied and on the objectives stated in each document. This documentary review was developed by means of a descriptive model, which was implemented with the search and description of more than 50 scientific documents, 30 of which were selected, allowing evidence of relevant information that contributed to the proposed objective, with the purpose of investigating what aspects comprise anxiety disorder from different approaches and contexts, since it allows to know in a general way what anxiety is, how it acts and what factors are influential in its symptomatology, without leaving aside which are the applied techniques and what effects each one has on the subject or population characterized by the scientists. This inspection allowed us to conclude that 57% of the articles consulted met their objectives, focused on the validity of cognitive, behavioral and cognitive-behavioral techniques in anxiety disorder, which brings knowledge to human science. It is evident that this pathology occurs more frequently in women, in people who live together in a stressful context, and that the techniques must be adapted to the needs of the patient. Although the most frequent in these cases are techniques such as, emotional intelligence, problem solving, relaxation techniques, etc. From the above, science can create promotional and preventive alternatives to reduce the rates of anxiety disorder.
