The present research entitled "Labor competencies of the professional in international trade in modern companies", was designed with the purpose of gathering information, which allowed to identify the labor competences required by the business sector at present to improve the performance of the professional in the labor sphere. This project was supported by the different postulates and authors who highlighted a series of competences that will allow professionals to develop their skills efficiently and effectively. Therefore, we found key variables that are the specific knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that international trade professionals must possess within their competences, which will generate recognition of their potential and the role they can play as agents of change in the Business. And after this, the objective determination of the ideal profile required. Then with this, the presentation of strategic training tools, tending to personal and professional strengthening, for the optimal development of the different technical and generic competences, thus obtaining beberte results in the use of knowledge, practices and a balance in personal relationships and labor. Finally, in this research we conducted interviews with companies today and that with their respective contributions they gave us their personal perspective on the skills that a professional in International Trade should have.
