This research presents the synthesis of a composite from a hybrid in situ synthesis method of aggregation of magnetic nanoparticles to the chitosan hydrogel, as well as the synthesis of a chitosan-glutaraldehyde (HCG) hydrogel using agitation and gelation, made from chitosan extracted from the exoskeleton of crustaceans. Hydrogels were studied as possible alternative materials in the controlled release of ibuprofen, this test was carried out at pH 7.4 and 2.0, simulating the pH of the human body, where HCG showed better performance. In the characterization of the materials, the analytical techniques were used: FTIR, XRD, SEM, TGA, and RAMAN.
