This paper presents the implementation of the comprehensive management plan for hazardous waste for the Bogota offices, (Aquinate, VUAD, Dr. Angelic, Legal Office, and San Alberto Magno Campus). Previously, a theoretical research was carried out based on evidences of how to formulate a Comprehensive Management Plan for hazardous waste (PGIRP), those Plans that were implemented in different educational institutions were identified; in the second instance the academic and administrative advances that had been developed by the University were integrated, this process went hand in hand with the application of checklists for each Headquarters, which were applied to update the real state of the University as soon as to the generation and management of hazardous waste. To finally complement, formulate and implement prevention and minimization programs, environmentally safe internal and external management, execution, monitoring and evaluation. As results, the objectives, goals, alternatives, responsible, chronogram and indicators of each program were generated; and with all this approach the implementation was given, where coherent actions were proposed to the activity of the University as a generator of Hazardous Waste, for this several Management Procedures were contemplated in each one of the components of the Plan; The sections that could not be implemented during the internship period were projected as mid-term proposals, which were developed with the approval of the coordination and the persons assigned to each proposal.
