The present work develops a gasodynamic analysis of a PT6A 60 series engine, in order to increase its overall efficiency. For this, the thrust power and the specific fuel consumption were obtained, then the performance curves of the PT6A engine of the Los Libertadores University Foundation were developed. The global efficiency of the motor was determined by performing the calculations in Excel software and in this way being able to vary the parameter data to determine how the global efficiency increases. It was obtained that, if parameters such as compression ratio, propeller efficiency and free power turbine are increased, mainly, they are the ones that increase the overall efficiency of the engine the most.
