In the world biometrics is used for different fines, currently this type of technology is being used for access control in establishments. The biometric systems that are used for a security system are divided into three types, the first is Static Biometry, which covers physical characteristics of people, such as: the iris, the retina, features of the face and hands. The second is dynamic biometry, it studies the behavior of some characteristics such as a person's voice, signature and writing dynamics. Finally, there is the combination of the first two, this is called "Multimodal Biometry". These systems can be applied according to the client's needs, however, the one that is most used today is Static Biometry, specifically the most common tool is the fingerprint detector, as it is unique and has a lower range. of mistake. This work intends to analyze and determine which is the best option for access control in the ORANGE BUSINESS SERVICES company, taking into account mainly the technical and economic aspects. Therefore, this document is divided into three parts: in the first, the state of the art will be defined, where some projects referring to biometric systems for access control in the business environment will be considered; the second describes topics related to biometrics, types and their derivatives. And finally, an analysis of different solutions for face detection access control will be developed.
